Featuring the actor and musician Max Beesley on vibraphone alongside Jerry Hey and his LA horn section, ‘Never Ever’ is yet another fine example of why Blues and Soul Magazine described Lisa as “an essential artist of our time” and Classic Pop Magazine as “one of the best British soul voices of the last 30 years.” ‘Never Ever’ has already charted as the #1 most added song in the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart, thanks to electrifying remixes from Mike Cruz and Rob Hardt. The remix package will be boosted by additional mixes by Brian Power and Mark “Snowboy” Cotgrove for the single’s July 20th release. Back in April, Lisa Stansfield released her eighth studio album “Deeper,” written by Lisa and long-time songwriting partner Ian Devaney.
